You may wish to enjoy the exclusive service of a guide who will give you some background information about the history of fans and fan making, take you through the various galleries of the museum and answer any questions you may have. There are two different rates according to the size of your group. Both rates include the admission charge.

Having admired the superb fan collection, you may wish to have the exclusive use of the magnificent Orangery for morning coffee (with biscuits), or afternoon tea which comprises home made gateau and scones with cream and jam. If your visit takes place in the middle of the day, you may wish to have a light lunch in the Orangery, which comprises, for example, quiches and salads, rolls and butter, dessert and soft drinks. These refreshments are only available for pre-booked groups.
