Duvelleroy Mask Fan

£34.00

Out of stock

Description

In keeping with the tradition of ‘mask fans’, which allow the carrier to see without being seen, this contemporary creation is an invitation to ‘play’ thanks to the perforated mask decorating the centre of the leaf.

Fan maker to Queens and Empresses since the early 19th century, maison Duvelleroy became synonymous with the very best fans, reaching a zenith during the Belle Époque period.  After a period of decline and subsequent closure, the maison was re-launched in 2010 under the stewardship of two women passionate about fashion and fans.

23cm sycamore wooden sticks, silk screen-printed cotton leaf. Comes with a pouch.
