By Train

We are a short walk from the Greenwich overground / DLR station and the Greenwich Cutty Sark DLR.

Greenwich Station | 7 minutes walk (0.3 miles)
Direct line from London Bridge and Cannon Street to the north, Dartford and Barnehurst to the South.

Cutty Sark DLR | 5 minutes walk (0.2 miles)
Direct Docklands Light Railway connections from Bank, Tower Gateway, Stratford and Lewisham.

Please note that the escalators at Cutty Sark DLR have been out of action for some time and, as a result, there are a large number of stairs to take between the platform and street level.


By Bus

Greenwich is well-served by direct bus routes from Sidcup, Catford and Peckham to the South, Russell Square, Waterloo and Woolwich to the North and East.

The Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00am – 5:00pm, last entry at 4:30pm

From 14th to 19th December 2024 from 4:30pm – 7:00pm, The Fan Museum welcome its visitors for Museum by Candlelight, a ticketed event.

During this ticketed event, the Museum will be open for general entry from 11:00am-3:30pm, with strict last entries at 3:00pm.

The Museum’s last day open of 2024 will be Thursday 19th December, and it will reopen to the public in February 2025.
