Arrange a visit to the museum for your organisation or school
The Fan Museum extends a warm invitation to organised groups of 10 – 30 people. We can cater for a wide variety of visiting groups from WIs and adult learners to universities and decorative arts societies.
Enjoy a guided tour led by one of the museum’s experienced curators. These tours make for an entertaining yet educative way to see The Fan Museum and learn something of the history fans and fan-making.
Guided tour: £5.00 per person (includes museum admission)
We offer a reduced admission rate of £3.00 per person for groups who do not wish to include a guided tour with their visit.
Please note we are not able to apply other discounts (such as National Trust membership, Art Fund, London Pass etc..) for group visits.
Having admired the permanent display and temporary exhibition, you may wish to have the exclusive use of the Orangery for morning coffee or afternoon tea, which comprises scones with cream and jam, and a selection of freshly baked cakes.
Morning Coffee with biscuits: £4.00 per person
Afternoon Tea (with scones, cream, jam & cake): £8.00 per person
Afternoon Tea (as above plus sandwiches): £11.00 per person
This option is available on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Fridays may also be available for groups of a smaller size (large groups may incur a hire charge on a Friday). Unfortunately we cannot take bookings for guided tours on Saturdays or Sundays.
Prices are correct as of 01 April 2016.
The Fan Museum offers educational activities for school or university groups including thematic tours of the museum, children’s activity trails, lectures, handling sessions and fan-making workshops.
