Sonia Furley, Head of Student Recruitment and Marketing, LSC said: ‘Lewisham Southwark College are excited to be part of Street Fans. This exciting project will not only open our students’ eyes to the world of fan-making, but also how skilled any style of art is – including modern styles such as street art. For our workshop sessions, we’re inviting local schools to come and create their own street fans whilst watching the professionals at work, and getting tips for their creations. Our Q&A masterclass will be open to anyone with an interest in the artistic and creative sectors – including university students and local businesses. As a large local college in south and east London, we hope to inspire young minds into thinking that they can achieve their creative dreams.’
