Peacock feathers are the stars of handfans. Duvelleroy used this graphic motif in many ways, either with sequin embroidery or on the packaging of the original house.
Fan maker to Queens and Empresses since the early 19th century, maison Duvelleroy became synonymous with the very best fans, reaching a zenith during the Belle Époque period. After a period of decline and subsequent closure, the maison was re-launched in 2010 under the stewardship of two women passionate about fashion and fans.
