At the end of the 19th century, the Viennese secession echoed the Art Nouveau movement in Paris, a key period for the original Duvelleroy house. Organic and curvy patterns, but also geometric motifs where perspective disappears were greatly developed by the artists of the time.

Fan maker to Queens and Empresses since the early 19th century, maison Duvelleroy became synonymous with the very best fans, reaching a zenith during the Belle Époque period. After a period of decline and subsequent closure, the maison was re-launched in 2010 under the stewardship of two women passionate about fashion and fans.
