Duvelleroy Mitsouko Fan


Mitsouko means “mystery” in Japanese. It is also the name given to a famous fragrance of the maison Guerlain and born in France during the Japanism era. With this hand-fan, Duvelleroy wants to thank the land of the rising sun, motherland of the pleated hand-fan. Burgundy cotton, gold pattern and tinted wood.

Fan maker to Queens and Empresses since the early 19th century, the maison of Duvelleroy became synonymous with the very best fans, reaching a zenith during the Belle Époque period.

After a period of decline and subsequent closure, the maison was re-launched in 2010 under the stewardship of two women passionate about fashion and fans.
