The Fan Museum holds over 5,000 fans and fan leaves with examples from all over the world from the 11th century to the present day.

Conservation Work

Under the guidance of a fully trained specialist conservator we run a conservation unit where work is undertaken for other museums and members of the public. Contact us for more information about this conservation work.

Library & Lectures

The Museum boasts study & research facilities and a reference library, available for use by appointment. Our curators can also provide private lectures on any aspect of the history of fans. Contact us for more information.
