Monture: Wooden sticks - no guards - stained brown.
Mount: Double paper leaf with scalloped edge, both sides with similar chromolithographic designs by A. LOPEZ.
Side 1: stylized illustration of a female head (Pierrette?), the upper portion concealed by a black mask with cut-out eye-holes, undulating ribbons extending into the reserves. Above the head, the words 'Champagne - Moet & Chandon' between two stars.
Side 2: a female head, the upper portion concealed by a black mask with cut-out eye-holes; printed in metallic gold on either side are medallions containing the words 'Moet & Chandon' with elegant curvilinear ornaments extending into the reserves.
